The business problem

A home baker taking orders through Instagram DMs juggles flavors, sizes, dates and payment confirmations across dozens of conversations. Orders get missed at the busiest moments, and there's no simple record of what's due tomorrow.

The proposed experience

A compact catalog presents each item with its real options — size, flavor, add-ons — and a price that updates as choices are made. Customers pick a pickup or delivery date from slots the baker actually has, then confirm. Behind the scenes, a day view lists what needs preparing and when.

Example features

  • Product catalog with options and availability
  • Order builder with live total
  • Pickup and delivery date and time slots
  • Order summary and confirmation
  • Preparation list grouped by day
  • Order status updates for customers

Design choices

Product photography carries the page, so the interface stays quiet: generous spacing, one accent for the active choice, and no decorative badges competing with the food. The pickup step is deliberately restrictive — only genuinely available slots appear — because that single constraint removes most of the back-and-forth.
